Cover letters
One page. One role. No throat-clearing.
A good cover letter is not a summary of your resume. It answers the only question the reader has: why this person, for this job, right now. Ours open with your strongest verifiable claim and close before the reader's attention does.
How we write them
Every letter is written to a single, real job advertisement. We pull the three requirements the employer actually cares about, match each to something you have done, and cut everything else. Australian business format, first person, no adjectives doing unpaid labour.
If you are applying to several similar roles we build the letter so the role-specific third is easy to swap without touching the spine. You get the letter in Word, so it stays yours.

Questions, answered honestly
Do employers still read cover letters?
Some skip them. The ones who read them use them to shortlist. Since you cannot know which type is on the panel, a tight one-pager is cheap insurance, and for APS roles the letter often doubles as the pitch.
Can you write one letter I reuse everywhere?
We can, but we will tell you it is a weaker tool. The compromise we build is a strong spine with a swappable role-specific section.
