About
The name is the promise.
A shoo-in is the one everyone already expects to win: the certainty candidate. Our whole job is making an employer feel that way about you, with evidence rather than volume.

How we work
Nothing invented. Every line traces to something you actually did, because a resume you cannot defend in an interview is a liability, not an asset. Evidence over adjectives. Numbers, scope and outcomes carry the argument; "passionate" and "dynamic" do not survive our edit. Honesty about AI. Our Express tier uses a drafting engine and says so on the price tag; every deliverable is edited and signed off by a named human writer. Straight verdicts. The free review says "you do not need us" when that is the truth.
Why "Shoo In"
Today a shoo-in means a person, team or thing expected to win with something close to certainty. Hiring is a race with one prize, and the candidate who reads as the safe, obvious choice takes it. Everything we write is aimed at exactly that: laying your evidence out so cleanly that picking you feels settled before the interviews even start. And yes, people spell it shoe-in; being remembered is part of the plan.
The people behind it
Shoo In is writer-led and deliberately small: your document is worked on by the same person who reads your free review, start to finish, which is exactly why the verdicts stay honest. Behind it sits extensive, current experience with APS and corporate applications: resumes, cover letters and selection criteria that have helped clients land roles across private banking, cyber security, defence contractors and the public service.
Australian, and everywhere
We are Australian owned and work nationwide by video. Government clients in Canberra, industry in Perth, graduates in Melbourne: the sitting works the same everywhere the internet reaches.
Judge us by the work.
